Services
For Individuals
NES Assurance works with independent intended parents and any individuals looking to streamline billing and scheduling within today’s complex healthcare environment. Whether that means comparing policy language on an insurance plan to coverage provided by an in or out of network provider, or just looking to discount retail services for medications and non-covered services, NESA’s dedicated team provides the guidance and expertise that can lower your costs and save you time and energy required to navigate healthcare’s turbulent waters.
Services for Individuals include:
Medical Bill Management
NESA manages medical bill processing and the payment of claims by reviewing the provision of care and the charges placed against your policy. We also ensure that your gestational carrier is not charged for covered services, and that their credit is not at risk. Bills are hosted online so all parties can monitor costs throughout the journey.
Concierge Pharmacy
NESA is the only licensed pharmacy benefit manager that serves the surrogacy industry by providing access to discounted pharmacy costs and providing hands-on guidance to egg donors and surrogates so that medications are taken as directed and questions are answered by trained professionals for every order.
Discounted Medical Costs
NESA is contracted with over 800,000 providers nationally, including the majority of labs, hospitals, reproductive endocrinologists, and OB-GYNs in the US. These contracts provide billing guidelines and pre-established discounts on everything from hospital care to genetic testing. NESA helps to make sure you are not paying retail rates for care.
Real-Time Cost Accounting
By keeping track of all expenses, NESA allows management of all medical costs, including insurance policy review for covered and uncovered treatment options; screening medical bills for duplicate charges and errors; ensuring payments are applied correctly to provider billing; acting as the patient liaison with providers for medical billing questions and arranging on-site services; acting as the patient liaison with payers, making sure responsibility for treatment and management of primary and secondary payers is established and documented with each payer; and providing cost accounting for medical expenses.
