ABC Agency approached us in 2015 and looked to NES Assurance to contain costs, both market-based and internal, in their management of local monitoring for IVF patients — specifically, the costs managing the high-touch requirements of communication between providers, as well as the unregulated costs of monitoring for their agency and their customers.

NES Assurance was able to take over the management of their monitoring program and provide complete transparency in the work being done relative to reaching out to providers, vetting their ability to do the work and their costs. In addition NESA was able to contract with multiple provider networks to streamling billing, provide contracted discounts and eliminate credit card deposits that many of the providers were requiring.

In the first year of operation NESA saved the agency’s members an average of $700 per case and saved the organization approximately 3 full-time employees worth of work. The return on investment was over 400% for the agency and 100% for the agency’s customer to which they passed on the costs.

MEDICAL PROVIDERS

Sample Fertility contacted NESA in 2022 to discuss how they could better manage communication with patients that were working with surrogacy agencies and better capitalize on costs related to the ever-changing pharmacy requirements.

Creating a service model for a new at home delivery program, NESA was able to develop a concierge level pharmacy program tailor made to the clinic and its clientele.

In addition, by leveraging its ability as a pharmacy benefit manager NES Assurance was able to increase clinic pharmacy revenue by over 300% in the first year alone. Over this time the program developed a 100% patient satisfaction score and has since grown to include genetic testing and ancillary lab work.
